POCATELLO – an aircraft going back to World War II would be in Pocatello next week and you’ll manage to see it up close and take a ride inside it.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bomber, “Sentimental Journey,” will arrive at the Pocatello Av Center at 1483 Flightline Drive on Monday, July 12. Ground tours and flights will be available throughout the week.
The historic aircraft can be right here as part of the yearly traveling stories of success concert tour, which Co-pilot Brent Beck claims, is actually a tribute on the women and men who built, flew and managed the plane during a period of time of combat in the usa.
“Most of those who have been men and female at that time are actually in their middle to later part of the 90s therefore … they’re rapidly vanishing,” Beck informs EastIdahoNews.com. “It’s a bridge of link with showcase individuals from the existing day the sacrifices anyone produced in the past to allow united states to get the freedoms that we see now.”
